Anderson Lake > Great Kokanee Fishing in BC.

Kokanee fishing in Anderson Lake has been Superb!  The average size of the Kokanee are 12"-16" weighing in at about 1lb.  This year we have been hitting a few in the 2-3.5lbs range.  Kokanee are a land lock Sockeye Salmon and are said to be some of the best eating fish on Earth.  They have a very soft mouth so, take your time reeling them into the boat.  For location and gear tips stop by Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd. in Pemberton, BC. at 1380 Birch Street, right next to the Esso gas station.
