Fly Fishing Ivey Lake > Pemberton, BC

Adult Damsels and Dragonflies are fishing very well on the surface.  Sub surface Dragonfly Nymphs and Damsel Nymphs are also working great.  This time of year fish tend to stay to the deeper end of the lake, which is at the out flow end of the lake.  The best sections seems to be from where the power lines cross to about the inside of the bend of the lake.  To get to the public access, follow Reid rd. up to the top and when you come to the 4 way intersection hang a left.  Once you come to the end off this road you will find a large turn around "wide spot".  Off the end of this turn around, the trail takes off down to the lake.  The lake is about 150yds from this turn around and the trail is in great shape.  Entrance to the lake is a bit muddy and fairly shallow.
