Blackwater Lake Ice Fishing Report
The ice is approximately 12" thick and in great shape. Fishing has been very good for 16"-20" Rainbow Trout, with the odd one breaking 25". The far side of the lake near the Shoreline has been best for Fishing. Try to stay in about 20'-25' of water for best success. Shrimp and Worms have been the most successful bait this year. We have been catching most Bows using a jig tipped with these baits. Keep the Jigs moving and occasionally stop. The weather has been ideal for Ice Fishing ;)
